Job summary

Required experience and certifications include 3+ years in critical care, TX RN license on hire, EMT TX, BLS, ACLS, PALS, and PHTLS. You'll work at a Level III Trauma Center with strong cardiovascular services.

Qualifications

• Three years of current critical care or emergency experience.
• TX Registered Nurse license upon hire.
• TX Emergency Medical Technician certification upon hire.
• BLS CPR within 14 days.
• ACLS within 6 months.
• PALS within 6 months.
• Prehospital Trauma Life Support within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Performs specialized functions and complex assessments, therapies, and emergency treatment for patients transported by rotor-wing, fixed wing, or ground.
• Maintains knowledge base for flight nursing via meetings, chart reviews, equipment reviews, labs, rotations, and CE sessions.
• Maintains effective communication between management and internal/external customers.
• Documents accurate information for assessment and treatment during stabilization and transport.
• Documents accurate billing information of patient transport.
