Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Software Engineer (Flight Reliability) to own and advance mission-critical software used across launch vehicles and Starlink operations. You will build reliable systems, prototype new solutions, and collaborate on architecture, design, and code reviews to drive performance and reliability.

You should bring 1+ years of full stack experience and a Bachelor's or equivalent in CS/engineering, with hands-on OO language proficiency and frontend experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in software development.
• 1+ years of full stack development experience.
• Strong programming knowledge across OO languages and modern frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Develop highly reliable software solutions that are used across SpaceX.
• Create new applications that improve how SpaceX operates.
• Build prototypes to prove out key design concepts and quantify technical constraints.
• Own all aspects of software engineering and product development.
• Deep dive into users’ problems to find and create efficient solutions.
• Bring your voice to the table in team collaborations on architecture, design, and code reviews.
