Job summary

Med-Trans Corporation is hiring a Flight Paramedic to join our air transportation team and transport patients to and from facilities, while handling scene calls with a safety-focused, professional crew.

Starting range is $93,100-$150,500 annually, dependent on experience, with a $10,000 sign-on bonus and $5,000 relocation assistance for those outside the greater Klamath Falls area. NEW SCHEDULE: two 24-hour shifts per week.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a 911 or critical care setting.
• Current EMT-P license/certification in the states served by the assigned area.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, trauma certification required prior to flight status.
• Flight Paramedic-Certified (FP-C) required within 24 months from date of hire.
• Instructor certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS/PEPP, ITLS/PHTLS preferred.
• NREMT-P certification may be required in assigned area.

Responsibilities

• Complete and submit electronic patient care records for each dispatched flight within required timeframes.
• Perform daily base checks, including narcotic inventory.
• Provide pre-hospital and intra-hospital advanced life support care from first contact to handoff.
• Maintain licensure, certifications, continuing education, safety, and procedures records.
• Ensure knowledge of equipment and supplies used by emergency programs.
