Med-Trans Corporation in Bend, Oregon is hiring a Flight Paramedic to join our air transport team, delivering high-quality pre-hospital and interfacility care. You will operate within a safety-focused crew, providing expeditious patient transport and critical care support as part of a dedicated EMS program.

The role requires at least three years as an EMT-P, current licenses, and FP-C within 24 months. We offer a competitive starting range, relocation assistance, and a sign-on bonus.

Formación

• Minimum of three (3) years’ experience as a licensed Paramedic in a 911 or critical care setting.
• Current EMT-P license/certification in the states served.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, trauma certification required prior to flight status.
• Flight Paramedic-Certified (FP-C) required within 24 months from date of hire.
• Instructor certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS/PEPP, ITLS/PHTLS preferred.
• NREMT-P certification may be required in assigned area.
• Five (5) years' experience as a licensed Paramedic in a busy 911 or critical care setting.
• The ideal candidate will live within 50 miles of Bend, OR, or be willing to relocate.

Responsabilidades

• Complete and submit electronic patient care records for each dispatched flight on time.
• Perform daily base checks, including narcotics count.
• Provide pre-hospital and intra-hospital ALS care from first contact to handoff to facility.
• Maintain knowledge and skills through ongoing labs and clinical experiences.
• Document licensure, certifications, CE, safety, and procedures in Education Manual.
• Use and maintain equipment and supplies for emergency programs.
• Maintain positive relationships with colleagues, EMS, hospitals, and public.
• Act as a medical flight team member.
• Attend pre-mission briefings and post-mission debriefings and complete docs.
• Assist in pre-mission liftoff checklists and pilot assistance as needed.
• Follow safety standards for liftoff.
• Conduct aircraft safety briefings as needed.
• Fill open or vacant shifts within area as directed.
