Job summary

CareFlight Air & Mobile Services is seeking a Flight Paramedic for the Miami Valley Hospital area. This part-time role (7pm–7:30am; 48 hours per pay) involves providing advanced emergency care during air or mobile transport alongside a CareFlight Nurse and promoting excellence in patient care.

The position requires 3–5 years of paramedic experience, Ohio licensure, and specific certifications (BLS, ACLS, PALS; ITLS or PHTLS within 90 days; NRP/ATLS within 1 year; CAMTS within 2 years).

Qualifications

• Paramedic with 3–5 years of transport experience.
• Experience with 911 EMS or MICU transport preferred.
• Current Ohio paramedic license and required certifications.
• Proof of BLS, ACLS and PALS at hire; ITLS or PHTLS within 90 days; NRP and ATLS within 1 year; CAMTS certification within 2 years.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced emergency/critical care during air or ground transport with CareFlight Nurse.
• Support public relations and participate in medical education activities.
