Job summary

PHI Health in Madison, IN is seeking a Part‑Time Flight Paramedic to join our elite team. You will provide advanced pre-hospital and interfacility care during rapid transport by rotor-wing and fixed-wing aircraft, under supervision of the Base Medical Supervisor.

Ideal candidates hold an active state paramedic certification, 3+ years of field experience (5 preferred), and current BLS/ACLS/PALS/PEPP or equivalent. FP-C within 24 months is expected. We offer competitive compensation and incentives.

Qualifications

• Active paramedic certification in the state employed.
• Minimum of three years (five years preferred) current paramedic field experience in a busy 911/pre-hospital service.
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS/PEPP and PHTLS/ITLS; NRP preferred.
• Instructor certifications preferred.
• FP-C within twenty-four months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of specialized functions and complex assessments, diagnoses, therapies and emergency treatment.
• Document information for assessment and treatment during stabilization and transport.
• Document accurate billing information of patient transports.
• Maintain communication with management and external customers.
• Participate in PR and marketing activities.
