Air Methods in Uvalde, TX is seeking a Clinical Flight Crew member with 3+ years of busy 911 experience to deliver pre-hospital advanced life support from landing to handoff, while flying state-of-the-art helicopters. You’ll maintain licensure, participate in training, and support mission safety as a key team member.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 3+ years related experience, or equivalent.
• Bachelor’s degree in health-related field preferred.
• Minimum three (3) years’ recent experience in a busy 911 system.
• Previous critical care transport and flight experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality pre-hospital advanced life support and documentation from initial contact to handoff.
• Operate within base scope of practice and maintain competency through ongoing education.
• Maintain licensure, certifications, training, and equipment readiness; report equipment issues.
• Attend pre-mission briefings/debriefings and assist pilots with radio, navigation, and observation.
• Participate in outreach, education activities and departmental projects as required.
