Qualifications

• Must hold an active RN license to practice in the state of employment.
• Minimum of three years (five years preferred) of current critical care/emergency experience.
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS and TNATC, TNCC, ITLS, or PHTLS.
• NRP preferred; Instructor certifications preferred.
• CFRN within twenty‑four months of hire; flight or transport experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform specialized functions and complex assessments, diagnoses, therapies in flight/ground transport.
• Document accurate information for assessment, treatment and stabilization.
• Document billing information for patient transports.
• Maintain effective communication with management and internal/external customers.
• Support PR and marketing activities.
• Maintain knowledge through meetings, chart reviews, equipment reviews, and continuing education.
• Complete all annual recurrent competency requirements.
• Maintain active RN license and required certifications.
• Work under medical director protocols and online guidance.
• Report to Base Medical Supervisor and National Director of Clinical Standards.
