Job summary

Apollo MedFlight is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our air medical team as a Flight Clinician. You will provide advanced critical care during transport, administer medications, and support patients throughout the flight.

Requires 3+ years of high-acuity RN experience, 2-year nursing degree, and essential certifications. This full-time role entails relocation within 6 hours of the base and adherence to rigorous medical guidelines.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited school of nursing.
• RN license in all states served by Apollo MedFlight CBS.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Registered Nurse in high acuity setting.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS at hire, NRP certification within 3 months of hire.
• Advanced trauma course (ATLS/TPATC/ATCN/PHTLS/TNCC) within 6 months of hire.
• CFRN or CTRN within 2 years of employment.
• NIMS 100 and 200 within one year.
• Live in or relocate within 6 hours of base.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Regular and reliable attendance.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced critical care support during air transport.
• Demonstrate professional behavior and teamwork in high-stress environments.
• Ensure safety and adherence to standing medical guidelines and policies.
• Operate and monitor medical equipment on fixed-wing and rotor-wing transports.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care.
