Duke Life Flight, part of Duke Health, seeks an experienced RN to join the critical care transport team serving patients across ages. The role emphasizes high‑quality patient care, collaboration with interdisciplinary teams, and participation in the clinical ladder and research initiatives.

Shifts include nights and days on a rotating schedule; location is Henderson, NC. Requires active NC RN licensure, BLS/ACLS/PALS/NRP, and trauma certifications with experience in transport nursing.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years (4 years preferred) of critical care nursing experience.
• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS and NRP.
• Current NC RN license or compact registration to practice in NC.
• North Carolina EMT certification required within 1 year of hire.
• One trauma course (PHTLS, TNCC, TPATC, PATC, BTLS or ITLS) required.
• Additional trauma certification within 2 years if new to transport nursing; if already experienced, a certification is required before hire.
• Ability to work in a diverse, autonomous environment.
• Not greater than 230 lbs and height not greater than 6'4".

Responsabilités

• Provide and supervise direct and indirect total nursing care.
• Staff ground and air transport teams with advanced nursing care.
• Work rotating shifts across ground and air modalities (approx. 50/50).
