Job summary

Advocate Health seeks a highly skilled nurse for critical care ground and air transports in North Carolina. The role requires RN licensure, trauma/advanced certifications, and experience in ED/ICU settings. Qualifications

Graduate from an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred.
Current RN license in the state of work/residence (or valid compact license).
Minimum three years clinical nursing experience in ED/ICU.
Paramedic certification required within one year of orientation.
Must maintain required certifications (BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, STABLE).
Advanced certifications such as CFRN/CTRN/CEN/CCRN or equivalent are required.

Responsibilities

Collects data pertinent to the healthcare consumer's health or the situation.
Analyzes data to determine diagnosis or issues.
Develops and implements a plan to deliver safe, effective care during transport.
Manages and monitors patient condition during aeromedical and ground transport.
Operates and troubleshoots flight/ground transport medical equipment.
Promotes patient safety and adherence to professional standards during transport.
