Job summary

Global Medical Response's Air Evac Lifeteam in Waynesboro, TN is hiring a Flight Nurse to join a team of air transportation professionals. The role involves transporting patients to and from facilities and responding to scene calls, with a focus on safety and high-quality patient care.

Requirements include an RN license in applicable states, 3 years in emergency or adult critical care, CFRN within 24 months, and BLS/ACLS/PALS/NRP certifications; EMT/trauma certifications as applicable.

Qualifications

• Three years of Emergency or Adult Critical Care nursing experience.
• Current RN license in states served by the assigned area.
• EMT and Trauma certifications as required in state(s) where assigned.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP before flight status; IFR training provided.
• CFRN certification required within 24 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assess situations to determine best action to support and treat patients in critical care.
• Manage critically ill or injured adults or children per physician orders.
• Maintain safe, clean aircraft environment and conduct base/equipment checks.
• Communicate professionally with air/ground teams, dispatch, flight crews, facilities and partners.
• Share shift change info and follow protocols for accurate documentation.
• Maintain required certifications and ongoing training for the position.
