Air Evac Lifeteam in Salem, MO is hiring a Flight Nurse to join our air transport team. You will assess patients in critical care settings, provide care on board aircraft, and coordinate with medical crews to ensure safe transfers and scene response.

The role requires current RN licensure, state-specific credentials, and certifications in BLS/ACLS/PALS/NRP, with CFRN due within 24 months of hire. Starting pay is $28.66 per hour with DOE, plus a $5 hourly area stipend modification.

Qualifications

• Three years of experience in Emergency or Adult Critical Care as an RN.
• Current RN license in states served by the assigned area.
• EMT Certification and Trauma Certification as required.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP completed prior to flight status (NRP provided during training).
• CFRN required within 24 months from hire date.

Responsabilités

• Assess situations to determine best course of action for critical care patients.
• Utilize critical thinking to manage critically ill or injured adults or pediatrics and support physicians’ orders.
• Maintain safe, clean aircraft environment and perform base/equipment checks.
• Collaborate with air and ground teams, dispatch, flight crews, facilities and partners.
• Share shift change information and maintain documentation and records.
• Maintain required certifications and ongoing training for the role.
