Job summary

Air Evac Lifeteam is hiring a Flight Nurse in Jackson, TN to safely transport patients and support scene calls. You will work with a professional team to ensure high safety standards and quality patient care in critical situations.

Minimum three years in Emergency or Adult Critical Care as an RN, current RN license for the area, and required certifications (BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP). CFRN due within 24 months and prior flight experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Three years of experience in Emergency or Adult Critical Care as an RN.
• Current RN license in the states served by the assigned area.
• EMT and Trauma certifications as required by state(s).
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP required before flight status; CFRN required within 24 months.

Responsibilities

• Assess situations to determine best course of action for patient care in critical situations.
• Manage care for critically ill/injured adult or pediatric patients per physician orders.
• Maintain safe aircraft environment and stock/inspect equipment and base checks.
• Communicate with air/ground teams, dispatch, flight crews, facilities and partners.
• Share handoff information and maintain accurate documentation and records.
