Job summary

Textron Aviation in Wichita, KS seeks a Flight Mechanic C to support testing and customer delivery of multi-engine aircraft. You will collaborate with experienced mechanics to install, inspect, and adjust systems, ensuring flight readiness and safety.

Responsibilities

• Mechanical installation: install line shortage items, disassemble and reassemble components, and prepare aircraft for flight tests and delivery.
• System checks & adjustments: perform functional checks, corrections, and adjustments on multi-engine systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Flight test support: assist in correcting flight test and inspection squawks to meet quality standards.
• Sheet metal rework: conduct minor sheet metal rework as needed to maintain aircraft reliability.
• Tool utilization: use mechanic hand tools and devices like scales, inclinometers, tensiometers, and pressure gauges to perform precise measurements and adjustments.
• Blueprint & specification adherence: follow blueprints, routers, specifications, and checklists to complete tasks accurately and efficiently.
