Job Description – Mech Maintenance (331555)

Textron Aviation, a leader in private aviation, is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to support the reliability and performance of our production‑centric equipment. This position is based in Wichita, Kansas.

Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and repair complex electronic, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical malfunctions in computer‑controlled electronics and subsystems.
  • Utilize advanced test equipment such as oscilloscopes, voltmeters, laser tools, and more to identify issues, calibrate systems, and verify subsystem integration.
  • Disassemble, repair, and reassemble machinery using conventional tools and methods, ensuring alignment with OEM specifications.
  • Collaborate with Maintenance Management to report issues, recommend repairs, and promote safe and efficient operational practices.
  • Safely operate cranes, forklifts, lifts, and heavy machinery during equipment setup, repair, and maintenance tasks.
  • Document all maintenance activities accurately and maintain compliance with standard procedures and quality standards.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma, equivalent certificate, or Bronze level WorkKeys certification.
  • Minimum one year of diversified industrial machine repair or related experience.
  • In‑depth understanding of electronic, electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic principles applicable to machine tools and factory equipment.
  • Ability to read blueprints and schematic diagrams and to operate a variety of machine diagnostic equipment.
