Job summary

Eastern Air Express in the United States is seeking a full-time Aircraft Maintenance Technician to join our maintenance team. You will perform day-to-day maintenance on company aircraft and engines, ensuring compliance with FAR requirements and safety standards.

The role reports to the Director of Maintenance and collaborates with flight crews, operations, and the leadership team. Applicants should hold an FAA A&P certificate, a high school diploma or equivalent, two years of Part 121

Qualifications

• FAA A&P certificate required.
• Two years of experience on commercial aircraft in a Part 121 environment.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and the internet.
• Familiarity with accessing online aircraft manuals.

Responsibilities

• Perform aircraft maintenance per manufacturers' recommendations and adhere to approved procedures and data.
• Meet aircraft at transit stations, check aircraft maintenance logs and respond to discrepancies entered in the logbook.
• Perform routine and non-routine maintenance on aircraft.
• Reference manuals and wiring diagrams to perform work on aircraft.
• Complete required paperwork accurately using GMM procedures.
• Use only approved and certified hardware, parts and equipment on aircraft.
• Promote teamwork among maintenance personnel and flight crews.
• Help maintain facilities and equipment as directed by leadership.
• Uphold safety and security procedures and awareness.
• Obtain additional qualifications through training and education as needed.
