Job summary

dnata Catering USA is seeking a Cold Kitchen Assembly team member to meticulously prepare and assemble cold items for airline meals. You will follow standardized recipes, portion items, and ensure proper labeling and temperature control throughout preparation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• At least 1 year of experience in food preparation.
• Must meet state/local food handler requirements; Texas requires a Food Handler Certificate within 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to HACCP/GMP and sanitation policies and procedures.
• Read charts/diagrams/work orders to determine food items and quantities.
• Portion and garnish foods into serving dishes, checking for contamination.
• Return unused items to storage or dispose of them per procedures; rotate stock.
• Retrieve portioned salads/desserts/rolls from storage and position for tray assembly.
• Load completed meal trays into airline carts or containers for transport.
• Work in cold environments (35–40°F).
• Perform other duties as assigned.
