Job summary

Northrop Grumman in Emerado, ND seeks a Flight Inspector 4 to join our Grand Sky Mission Assurance team. You will lead receiving inspections of flight-critical hardware and coordinate with engineering and test personnel to ensure compliance with contractual and configuration requirements.

The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, experience with MRB processes, and the ability to interpret aerospace drawings, with eligibility for a U.S. Government Secret Clearance if needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 7+ years of related experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret Clearance if required.
• Experience in flight-line or air vehicle acceptance inspections.
• Experience supporting MRB and RCCA activities for nonconforming material or intake issues.
• Experience interpreting complex aerospace drawings, specifications and configuration baselines.

Responsibilities

• Perform receiving inspection on flight-critical hardware, including LRUs and ESDS.
• Validate supplier documentation prior to material acceptance.
• Execute inspection activities per quality instructions and program requirements.
• Administer Air Vehicle Acceptance Testing procedures and coordinate with Test Engineers.
• Initiate Nonconformance Reports and support MRB documentation.
• Inspect aircraft systems and equipment for operation and conformance to standards.
• Monitor quality using statistical process control or other QC procedures.
