Job summary

Astranis is hiring a Production Scheduler to develop and maintain detailed schedules for flight hardware, R&D, tooling, and testing equipment. You will align with production leadership and the engineering program management team to create end-to-end, realistic plans that drive on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering or similar technical discipline.
• 2+ years of professional experience in aerospace industry.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed resource-loaded schedules for multiple factory workcenters.
• Work with production leadership to develop realistic but aggressive plans and with engineering program management to integrate schedules into end-to-end programmatic schedules.
• Derive and communicate clear targets and priorities for every hardware and process, ensuring resource allocation, schedule accuracy and on-time delivery.
• Identify and report schedule risks, impacts, and workarounds.
• Perform quick what-if schedule modeling and analyses for emergent risks.
• Create, maintain and use scheduling processes and tools to identify and act on potential constraints daily/weekly.
• Collaborate with software and procurement teams to implement and maintain an MRP system with data accuracy.
• Communicate schedule status to stakeholders through reports, meetings and dashboards.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in an engineering or similar technical discipline
