Job summary

DO & CO AG is seeking a Food Packer in Des Plaines, IL to accurately check and pack meals per airline specifications. You will ensure correct meal counts, pack galley equipment, and support tray setup while adhering to food safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for checking and packing of food and goods according to DO & CO and airline specifications.
• Ensures correct number of meals for each flight are ready, packed and assigned correctly in a timely manner.
• Packs and checks aircraft galley equipment to ensure all are adhering to airline guidelines.
• Assists in setting up trays, preparing and packaging food.
• Conducts physical counts and pack additional equipment or products.
• Reports problems with the food safety management system to the supervisor and the hygiene and food safety team and complies.
• Comply with all food safety and hygiene regulations as stated in the food safety management system handbook
• Assists with airside operations under the direction of the flight coordinator and performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management
