Job summary

iFLY Careers in Maryland is seeking an Operations Manager to lead instructors, CSRs and STEM educators. You will ensure the tunnel is fully staffed, uphold the highest safety standards, and deliver an unparalleled guest experience, while supporting the General Manager in making the venue a premium destination.

You will develop daily flight and staff schedules, supervise a diverse team, manage inventory and payroll reporting, and foster a collaborative, inclusive work culture focused on growth.

Qualifications

• Experience in operations management in a customer-facing industry.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Proficiency in scheduling and monitoring business metrics.
• Excellent communication to guide a diverse team.
• Experience hiring, developing, and recognizing staff; safety-focused.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the facility and ensure smooth execution.
• Maintain full staffing of the tunnel and manage flight and staff schedules.
• Supervise instructors, CSRs, and STEM educators with high service standards.
• Lead and develop the team, address conflicts, and drive performance.
• Manage inventory, payroll reporting, and daily operational reports.
• Enforce safety guidelines and conduct regular safety audits.
