Job summary

EVONA is seeking a Flight Assurance Engineer to support the development, qualification and delivery of mission-critical spacecraft hardware in Texas. You will own flight assurance activities across the full lifecycle, from design and manufacturing through assembly, testing and integration.

The role requires a bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field and 3+ years in flight assurance or related disciplines, with direct aerospace hardware experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Systems Engineering or related discipline.
• 3+ years in flight assurance, mission assurance, quality or reliability engineering.
• Direct experience working with aerospace hardware.
• Spacecraft mechanisms experience is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Leading flight assurance activities for spacecraft mechanisms and mechanical assemblies.
• Supporting qualification testing, including TVAC, vibration and life testing.
• Managing nonconformances, root cause investigations and corrective actions.
• Reviewing assembly procedures, test documentation and hardware readiness.
• Ensuring flight hardware meets reliability, safety and quality requirements.
