About the Role

As a Technical Retail FlexPLM Consultant at ArcherGrey, you will design, develop, and maintain PTC FlexPLM solutions for retail clients. You will code, customize, and integrate applications, support upgrades, migrations, and data management. This is a remote position with up to 20% travel to client sites as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop FlexPLM customizations, extensions, and system integrations.
• Write and maintain clean, efficient code using Java/JSP and related technologies.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing FlexPLM environments.
• Conduct gap analyses and support data migration and integration efforts.
• Analyze client data models; advise on data preparation and cleansing best practices.
• Independently install, configure, and integrate PLM software solutions.
• Collaborate with technical teams and stakeholders to deliver effective solutions.
• Support software testing, performance optimization, and ongoing system maintenance.

About the Candidate

You are a detail‑oriented problem solver who enjoys working directly with clients to deliver impactful solutions. You bring strong programming foundations in Java/JSP and proven experience customizing and integrating FlexPLM. You manage multiple priorities, troubleshoot complex issues, and support systems through upgrades and migrations. You communicate clearly and collaborate proactively.

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of technical experience with PTC FlexPLM (customizations, upgrades, integrations).
• Strong programming background with Java/JSP (VB/VC++, Oracle, or similar experience is a plus).
• Proven ability to develop, support, and maintain enterprise PLM software solutions.
• Experience with system upgrades, data migrations, and performance tuning.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to manage multiple technical projects.
• Excellent communication skills with a collaborative, solution‑oriented approach.
