At Inovar Packaging Group, our mission is to elevate brands through outstanding labels and packaging. We pursue that mission by pairing cutting-edge equipment with people who care deeply about quality, safety, and craftsmanship. If you take pride in precise setups, consistent color, and smooth production flow, we’d love to meet you.
Who We Are
Inovar is a premier flexographic and digital printer serving customers across North America. We invest in technology, training, and a culture grounded in teamwork, trust, and win-win partnerships.
The Impact You’ll Make
You will own the setup, operation, and upkeep of a narrow-web flexographic press to deliver high-quality labels and printed products that meet or exceed customer specifications and production schedules.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare for each job by reviewing tickets, artwork, proofs, press instructions, materials, and customer specs.
- Set up tooling: mount plates; install dies, cylinders, anilox rolls, doctor blades; stage and manage inks.
- Load and thread paper, films, and pressure-sensitive substrates through the press with care.
- Control registration, impression, web tension, color, viscosity, and drying/curing to achieve target results.
- Execute color matching; adjust on the fly to keep density, hue, and registration within tolerance.
- Run rigorous in-process quality checks for color, copy, barcodes, defects, die-cut accuracy, and overall appearance.
- Diagnose and resolve issues such as dirty print, pinholing, plate bounce, registration variation, ink buildup, web breaks, and inconsistent color.
- Confirm finished goods conform to customer requirements and approved quality standards.
- Minimize waste, setup time, downtime, and material losses while meeting production goals.
- Log production metrics, material consumption, waste, quality verifications, and downtime accurately.
- Perform routine cleaning, preventive maintenance, and basic mechanical fixes; keep the area orderly and safe.
- Follow all safety procedures, quality systems, SOPs, and company policies.
- Collaborate across Production, Quality, Prepress, Ink, Maintenance, and Finishing; mentor Press Helpers.
- Support other production tasks as assigned.
