Job summary

Computype, Inc. in Saint Paul, MN is seeking a dedicated machine/operator to run Flexographic presses and ensure high-quality conversion of products.

You will work with CAD specs, manage up to four-color registrations, and conduct routine maintenance to sustain efficient output. Qualified candidates will have 3+ years in machine operation and 1 year in flex printing, with strong ink knowledge and math/computer skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum of three years machine operating experience and one year Flex printing experience.
• Knowledge of inks and how they respond to various poly and paper substrates.
• Ability to apply good computer and good math skills to job.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate Flexographic presses to a high standard.
• Register up to four colors in line with CAD specifications.
• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance per Work Instructions.
• Record production throughput, labor hours, material usage, and quality issues.
