Job summary

Computype in Saint Paul, MN is seeking an experienced Flexographic Press Operator to set up and run press machinery in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will work to tight tolerances, follow work instructions, and minimize waste while meeting production deadlines.

The role is scheduled 3pm–1:30am, Monday through Thursday, with benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k) with match, paid time off, and a 10% second-shift differential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum of three years machine operating experience and one year Flex printing experience.
• Knowledge of inks and how they respond to various poly and paper substrates.
• Ability to read CAD drawings (if applicable) and follow written instructions.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate Flexographic presses to high standards.
• Maintain color registration and die-cut/laminate processes as per CAD specs.
• Document SPC data, material lots, and production checklists.
• Perform daily/weekly/monthly maintenance per Work Instructions.
• Communicate shift updates and issues to team leads and supervisors.
• Record throughput, labor hours, material usage and quality issues.
