Job summary

Surge Staffing in Anderson, SC is seeking an experienced Flexographic Press Operator to join our manufacturing and printing operation. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience running flexographic presses and a solid understanding of print quality, machine setup, and production processes.

You will operate and monitor presses, set up for different jobs, adjust inks and plates, and perform routine inspections to ensure quality and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience operating a flexographic printing press.
• Experience in commercial printing/label/packaging preferred.
• Knowledge of press setup, changeovers, inks, plates, registration, and print quality.
• Ability to read and follow job specifications and production instructions.
• Basic math and measurement skills.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift/move materials as required.
• Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot basic equipment and printing issues.
• Follow job specifications, work instructions, and production schedules.
• Record production information, materials used, downtime, and quality issues.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
• Perform routine press cleaning and basic maintenance as needed.
• Work closely with other production team members to meet quality and productivity goals
