• Production Support: help with material staging and handling to minimize delays and ensure smooth runs.
• Maintain Safety Standards: follow safety protocols and PPE; comply with hazmat storage rules.
• Housekeeping and General Maintenance: keep kitting areas clean; dispose of waste per guidelines.

We are seeking an experienced Flexographic Press Helper. The Flexographic Press Helper provides help in gathering, organizing, and preparing materials for the flexographic printing process. This role assists in ensuring that all required components—such as inks, substrates, plates and packaging materials are accurately collected and staged to maximize production efficiency. Ideal candidates are organized, detail-oriented, and able to perform physical tasks in a fast-paced environment.gr

• Assist in Kit Preparation:
  • Help gather and organize materials, such as inks, substrates, plates, and other components, for each job order.
  • Assist the kitting in preparing kits based on job specifications, ensuring each component is correctly labeled and staged.
  • Confirm that all items meet job requirements and are ready for production.
• Support Inventory Management:
  • Track and restock materials as directed by supervisor, including inks, substrates, and other supplies.
  • Help with organization in the inventory area, ensuring items are easily accessible and properly labeled.
  • Report low stock levels or damaged items to the supervisor to help maintain optimal inventory.
• Quality Assurance Assistance:
  • Support the pressperson in inspecting materials for quality before kitting, checking for any visible defects or inconsistencies.
  • Ensure that collected materials meet the color, quantity, and type specified in job orders.
  • Document and communicate any issues with materials to the pressperson or supervisor.
• Production Support:
  • Assist the production team with material staging and handling to minimize delays and keep production running smoothly.
  • Help transition materials and supplies between shifts, ensuring readiness for the next run.
  • Communicate with the press operators to address material needs during the production process.
• Maintain Safety Standards:
  • Follow all safety protocols when handling inks, solvents, and other materials, using required personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Comply with hazardous materials storage and handling regulations to maintain a safe work environment.
  • Participate in safety meetings and adhere to company safety policies.
• Housekeeping and General Maintenance:
  • Assist in keeping the kitting and staging areas clean, organized, and free from clutter.
  • Dispose of waste materials according to safety and environmental guidelines.
  • Perform light cleaning or maintenance of kitting equipment as needed.
