Job summary

Heartland Label Printers, LLC. is seeking a Press Operator to setup, operate, monitor, and maintain a Mark Andy flexographic printing press. You will work to meet customer specs, quality standards, and production schedules while supporting continuous improvement in a manufacturing setting.

The role requires attention to detail, basic mechanical skills, and the ability to read work orders and production documents. This full-time position includes on-site work with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED.
Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to read and interpret work orders and production documentation.

Responsibilities

Set up and operate flexographic printing presses per work order specifications and production requirements.
Review job tickets and production orders to determine quantities, colors, substrates, print sequences, anilox specifications, and customer requirements.
Load, position, and adjust substrates and materials into press feeding mechanisms.
Set and adjust press parameters including speed, temperature, registration, pressure, tension, and ink flow.
Inspect printed products for print clarity, color consistency, and registration accuracy; correct defects and document results.
