Job summary

Moore in Tulsa, OK is seeking a Flexo Print Helper to assist Flexographic Press Operators with setup, operation, monitoring, and maintenance of printing equipment. You will help produce materials meeting customer specs and quality standards.

You will learn flexographic printing operations, be cross-trained on equipment, and ensure accurate materials handling, ink preparation, and quality control while maintaining a safe, clean work environment.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to read and understand job tickets and instructions.
• Willingness to learn flexographic printing equipment.
• Basic math and measurements for production.
• G.E.D. or High School Diploma preferred.

Responsibilities

• Read and understand job tickets, work orders, production instructions, specifications, and job-related documentation.
• Assist with setup, start-up, operation, and shutdown of flexographic printing equipment.
• Stage materials for upcoming jobs, including paper, stock, ink, plates, dies, and other materials.
• Verify materials are used according to job specifications and assist with loading/unloading.
• Assist with mounting/removing plates and cleaning/storing press components.
• Assist with ink preparation, ink changes, and maintaining ink levels.
• Monitor press operation and communicate concerns to the Press Operator.
• Perform ongoing quality checks and identify print defects; pull samples for checks.
• Maintain safe, clean, and organized work environment following Lean principles.
