Packaging Corporation of America is seeking a manufacturing associate to support our Flexo operations. You will set up rails, print, and die cut sections accurately, inspect dies, and ensure cutting dies are secure. The role requires attention to quality and adherence to safety processes on a fast-paced line.

The position emphasizes teamwork, efficient operation of equipment, and timely reporting of production data. OT and weekend shifts may be required as part of this manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to work in a fast paced manufacturing environment.
• Strong teamwork and clear communication with cross-functional teams.
• Willingness to work overtime on short notice, including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Set-up rails, print, and die cut section on Flexo according to setup techniques.
• Inspect dies before and after runs to ensure repairs are made as needed.
• Ensure bolts for cutting dies are in place and secured.
• Monitor box quality for warp, size, print; check rolls for damage.
• Maximize equipment utilization by running at capacity and speed.
• Assist operators and other team members with machine duties.
• Complete production reports and safety/quality data accurately.
