Job summary

Thrive Pet Healthcare is seeking a Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) to provide relief support across our Washington hospitals. This part-time role offers variety, the chance to work with multiple teams, and the flexibility to design your own schedule from 3-5 shifts per week, with 8-12 hour shifts available in Lynnwood and other WA locations.

You will assist veterinarians, mentor staff, maintain medical records, prepare patients for discharge, and support anesthesia and surgery.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid LVT license.
• Experience in emergency and specialty care beyond general practice.
• Possible overnight availability and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Support veterinarians to ensure quality care and educate clients.
• Provide training and mentorship to team members.
• Maintain accurate medical records and health histories.
• Prepare patients for discharge and communicate discharge instructions to pet parents.
• Assist in general anesthesia and surgical procedures.
• Maintain clean, organized treatment areas and collaborate with the team.
