Job summary

Sodexo is seeking a Utility Worker in Burlingame to support kitchen and facility operations by maintaining cleanliness, sanitation, and organization in food production and service areas. You will clean equipment, surfaces, and storage spaces, assist with basic setup and breakdown tasks, and help ensure sanitary standards across the area.

The role requires a High School diploma or equivalent, with no mandatory prior experience.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• No related work experience.
• Knowledge of sanitation procedures, to include basic concepts of food safety.

Responsibilities

• Washes dishes by hand or uses a dishwashing machine.
• Clean and sanitize worktables, walls, refrigerators and meat blocks.
• Sweeps, mops, cleans and vacuums floors.
• Removes trash and garbage to designated areas.
• Cleans equipment using specific chemicals to ensure sanitary standards.
