African American Talent is hiring a Float Universal Banker in the Greater New York area. The role supports multiple branch teams, provides teller services, and promotes digital banking to enhance the customer experience.

You will educate customers on Consumer and Business Banking options, handle servicing tasks, manage lobby interactions, and refer opportunities to partners. Travel between branches is expected to support staff and customers.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED plus 1 year in retail sales or customer service.
• Ability to travel between branches as needed.
• Strong verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Experience handling consumer and small business customers.
• Proficient with basic internet tools.
• Bilingual based on branch needs.

Responsabilidades

• Educate customers and explain banking solutions; make product recommendations.
• Engage customers and encourage use of digital capabilities.
• Explain loan application criteria.
• Complete servicing tasks and log customer interactions.
• Follow sales process and provide customer-focused guidance.
• Proactively reach out to retain and grow customer relationships.
• Assist with lobby management and greet customers.
• Introduce banking partners when appropriate.
• Ensure AML/BSA/KYC processes and flag suspected fraud.
• Adhere to compliance and operation risk controls as applicable.
• Promote a welcoming, belonging-focused environment.
