Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Professional Flex Officer to serve and safeguard clients across multiple industries. You will gain hands-on experience through our exclusive shift-pickup platform, allowing you to claim open shifts based on availability and build a versatile site portfolio.

Responsibilities include patrols, monitoring entrances, incident reporting, and coordinating with local authorities when needed.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• Licensing requirements subject to state/local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• No prior experience required.
• Be at least 18 years of age (21 if armed).
• Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments.
• Operate radio/telephone equipment and consoles.
• Strong communication with the public.
• Active listening and problem-solving skills.
• Mediate conflict with tact and diplomacy.
• Teamwork and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle.
• Watch for irregular conditions creating security concerns or safety hazards.
• Sound alarms or call police or fire department if needed.
• Warn violators of rule infractions.
• Permit authorized entry and monitor entrances/exits.
• Observe departing personnel to prevent theft.
• Investigate/prepare reports on accidents; maintain logs.
• Assist customers, employees, and visitors courteously.
• Make emergency notifications per site Post Orders.
