Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Unarmed Flex to protect client sites across various industries. You’ll perform patrols, monitor entry points, and respond to incidents using our shift-pickup platform to claim open shifts based on availability.

The role offers exposure to multiple sites and hands-on site experience. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or 5 years of verifiable experience, plus a valid driver's license and the ability to adapt to irregular hours.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or 5 years verifiable experience.
• Valid driver’s license if driving a company or customer vehicle.
• Background investigation and drug screen as required by law.
• Be at least 18 years old (21 if armed).
• Reliability and adaptability to post assignments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle.
• Monitor entrances and exits and control access as required.
• Respond to alarms, emergencies, and safety concerns promptly.
• Warn violators and enforce site rules with tact and diplomacy.
• Prepare incident reports and maintain post logs accurately.
• Assist customers, employees, and visitors professionally.
• Coordinate with local authorities when needed.
