Job summary

Belk is seeking a Support Flex Associate to drive sales and deliver a positive customer experience by accurately processing inbound truck deliveries and preparing merchandise for the floor. The role supports inventory accuracy through RFID tasks and assists with merchandising and store operations on a hourly basis.

Key responsibilities include unloading deliveries, stocking, promoting promotions, and maintaining back-of-house organization.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow processes and maintain accuracy.
• Comfort with technology including handheld devices and Windows-based systems.

Responsibilities

• Unload cartons from truck deliveries and sort by department.
• Prepare items for sales floor by hanging and labeling as needed.
• Complete sensor tag application and RFID tasks to support inventory.
• Assist with facilities processes, store maintenance, and housekeeping.
• Support floor sets, promotions, pricing changes, and order picking/packing.
• Replenish supplies, maintain cleanliness, and organize tools and equipment.
• Stay informed on products, promotions, and store events to aid execution.
• Assist customers and teammates during peak traffic and cover shifts.
