Job summary

Remedy Recruitment Group seeks a Supply Teaching Assistant to support pupils across Brentwood and Essex. The role offers flexible days and is paid weekly, with opportunities across primary, secondary and early years settings.

You will assist in 1:1 or small group settings, help with lesson delivery and classroom management, and bring calm and structure to busy classrooms, adapting to varied school environments.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people (school-based experience ideal but not essential).
• Background in childcare, tutoring, youth work, coaching or SEN support welcome.
• Friendly, adaptable and confident personality.
• Comfortable working in new and varied school environments.
• Genuine passion for helping young people succeed.

Responsibilities

• Supporting pupils 1:1 or in small groups.
• Assisting teachers with lesson delivery and classroom management.
• Bringing calm, structure and positivity into busy classrooms.
• Supporting pupils with additional needs where required.
• Helping ensure learning runs smoothly throughout the day.
• Making a real difference in everyday classroom moments.
