Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or PA Teacher Certification per Act 86 requirements.
• Clearances: Act 24 Arrest/Conviction, Act 34 PA State Police, Act 114 Federal Criminal History, Act 151 Child Abuse Clearance, Act 126 Suicide Prevention Training, Act 168 Sexual Misconduct Disclosure Release.
• Action: Tuberculosis test; Physical may be required in some areas.

Responsibilities

• Provide meaningful instruction to students in assigned classrooms while regular teacher is absent.
• Review and implement regular teacher's routines, procedures, lesson plans, and curriculum objectives.
• Establish and maintain a safe and orderly classroom environment.
• Report any student injuries, illness, and serious discipline problems to school administration.
• Perform other duties as directed by school administration.
