Job summary

ESS in Allentown, PA is seeking a Substitute Teacher to assist with classroom instruction when the regular teacher is absent, follow lesson plans, help students understand material, and maintain daily routines.

Qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree, PA Teacher Certification or Act 86 eligibility, and required clearances. Compensation is $120.00–$150.00 per day plus a $200 monthly bonus.

Responsibilities

• Provide meaningful instruction to students in assigned classrooms while regular teacher is absent
• Review and implement regular teacher's routines, procedures, lesson plans, and curriculum objectives
• Establish and maintain a safe and orderly classroom environment
• Report any student injuries, illness, and serious discipline problems to school administration
• Perform other duties as directed by school administration
