• Experience evaluating and treating speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders.
• Perform comprehensive speech-language evaluations and develop treatment plans.
• Obtain and document patient histories, evaluations, progress notes, and outcomes.
• Coordinate evaluations, scheduling, and treatment programs for patients.
• Prepare diagnostic and evaluative reports with recommendations.
• Maintain patient records and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Participate in staff meetings and continuing education.
• Adhere to HIPAA regulations and the UPMC Code of Conduct.
• Maintain productivity while delivering quality patient care.
• Pursue ongoing professional development and community education opportunities.
