Job summary

The RIT Inn & Conference Center in Rochester, NY, seeks a friendly Bell Attendant to greet guests, assist with luggage, and provide shuttle transportation to enhance guest experience. Flexible scheduling and opportunities for growth are available.

You will follow safety procedures, keep shuttle vans clean, maintain records, coordinate luggage storage, and support front desk operations during busy times. A valid NYS driver’s license and prior guest service experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have a clean and valid New York State driver's license.
• Friendly, reliable, enthusiastic and articulate.
• Able to work independently or with others; strong social etiquette.
• Shifts are midday to evening, Monday–Friday with some weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide pleasant and professional services to all hotel guests.
• Greet guests on arrival and assist with luggage.
• Know hotel safety, security, and emergency procedures.
• Provide safe transportation to guests using the hotel's shuttle vehicle.
• Maintain shuttle vans and perform daily inspections.
• Track service maintenance and report needs to management.
• Coordinate luggage storage and guestroom deliveries; assist with snow removal.
• Assist with front desk phone duties during busy times.
• Know hours of hotel services and upsell available services.
• Maintain cleanliness of lobby and front entrance.
