RIT Inn & Conference Center, Rochester, NY, is seeking a Bell Attendant to provide friendly, professional guest services, greet arrivals, assist with luggage, and support shuttle transportation.

This role emphasizes safety, reliability, and teamwork, with duties ranging from lobby housekeeping to coordinating luggage storage and front desk support during busy periods. Must have NYS driver's license; pay ranges from $15.50 to $16 per hour.

Qualifications

• Must be able to provide, receive, and comprehend verbal and written instructions and information.
• Must possess a clean and valid New York State driver's license.

• Must present an appropriate public presence in grooming, dress, poise, and social etiquette.

Responsibilities

• Provide pleasant and professional services to all hotel guests.
• Greet guests upon arrival and offer assistance with luggage.
• Be knowledgeable of safety, security, and emergency procedures and equipment; perform or dispatch necessary functions.
• Provide safe transportation to guests using the hotel's shuttle vehicle.
• Ensure proper maintenance and cleanliness of shuttle vehicles and complete daily inspections.
• Track van service maintenance and update management on needed service tasks.
• Coordinate luggage storage, guestroom deliveries, snow removal, and care of hotel flags; support front office operations.
• Answer front desk phones during busy times.
• Know hours of operation of hotel services and promote them to guests.
• Maintain communication with staff to achieve high cooperation and service excellence.
• Assist in keeping the hotel front entrance, lobby, and surrounding areas clean.
• Check lobby fixtures, equipment, and conditions for proper operation; report deficiencies.
• Maintain all work equipment, tools, and supplies.
• Respond to guest requests with appropriate sensitivity and immediacy.
• Comply with department, hotel, and company policies and procedures.
• Perform any task within your ability as needed
