Sodexo at Creighton University is seeking a Utility Worker to support kitchen and facility operations by maintaining cleanliness, sanitation and organization throughout food production and service areas. The role involves cleaning equipment, tables, walls, floors and storage spaces, transporting supplies, and assisting with basic set-up and break-down tasks as needed.

Requirements include a High School diploma or equivalent; no related work experience is required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of sanitation procedures, to include basic concepts of food safety.

Responsabilités

• Washes dishes by hand or in a machine.
• Cleans and sanitizes work tables, walls, refrigerators and meat blocks.
• Sweeps, mops, cleans and vacuums floors.
• Removes trash and garbage to designated areas.
• Cleans equipment using chemicals to maintain sanitary standards.
• Restocks supplies like soap and cleaning materials.
• Walks or stands for extended periods and lifts up to 50 pounds.
