Job summary

The TJX Companies, Inc. is seeking a store associate focused on floor care and cleaning at our Groton, CT location. You will operate scrubber and buffer, perform mopping and cleaning tasks, and support store operations with a strong emphasis on safety and loss prevention. Customer service and teamwork are essential.

You will be cross-trained to assist in multiple store areas, ensuring a positive store environment and adherence to policies while maintaining efficiency and quality of work.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and organized store environment focusing on floor care.
• Operate scrubber and buffer, dust mop, damp mop, sweep, vacuum, dust, and spot-clean windows.
• Adhere to health and safety standards and loss prevention controls.
• Cross-train to support multiple store areas as needed.
• Support and respond to Front End coverage needs and merchandising standards.
• Participate in store recovery and labor law compliance.
