Job summary

The TJX Companies, Inc. is seeking a Store Associate at our Windsor, CT location to maintain a clean and organized store environment with a focus on floor care.

You will operate the scrubber and buffer, perform mopping and cleaning tasks, and support multiple store areas as needed to meet business needs. Ideal candidates have excellent customer service, strong communication skills, physical stamina, and the ability to lift heavy objects.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Physically capable of performing cleaning tasks and operating floor equipment.
• Ability to lift heavy objects with or without accommodation.
• Retail customer experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and organized store environment with a focus on floor care.
• Operate scrubber and buffer; dust, damp mop, sweep, vacuum, and clean glass/windows.
• Adhere to operation, merchandising, and loss prevention standards.
• Cross-train to support multiple store areas and coverage needs.
• Communicate effectively with management and Associates; follow safety and labor policies.
