Oldfield Club in Oaktie, SC is seeking a full-time Server Assistant to support our Food & Beverage team in a fast-paced private club environment. You will help servers, clear tables, and ensure dining areas meet presentation standards while delivering friendly, professional service to members and guests.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Restaurant/hospitality/customer service experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to frequently lift and carry up to 40 pounds.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, tournaments, weddings, and special events.

Responsibilities

• Welcome members and guests with a friendly, professional attitude.
• Assist servers by delivering food and beverages promptly and accurately.
• Clear and reset tables efficiently while maintaining club presentation standards.
• Refill water, coffee, tea, bread, and other beverages as requested.
• Assist with table maintenance throughout the dining experience by clearing plates, glassware, and utensils.
• Polish silverware, glassware, and service items to club standards.
• Stock and replenish service stations with linens, condiments, ice, glassware, and other supplies.
• Assist with opening, closing, and side work responsibilities.
• Maintain clean dining rooms, patios, service stations, and server alleys throughout each shift.
• Assist with banquet, golf events, weddings, and special club functions.
• Communicate effectively with servers, bartenders, chefs, and managers to ensure seamless service.
• Follow proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures.
• Assist with the setup and breakdown of golf course food and beverage stations when assigned.
• Safely operate golf carts when supporting golf events or food and beverage operations.
