Job summary

Berkeley Hall Club, Inc. in Bluffton, SC is seeking a part-time Assistant Server Associate (ASA) to support our dining team. You will assist servers, maintain tables, reset dining areas, and ensure guests receive attentive, friendly service in a private golf club environment.

Ideal candidates have hospitality experience or a willingness to learn, strong teamwork and communication, and the ability to stand for extended periods. Flexible evenings, weekends, and holidays are required.

Qualifications

• Hospitality or food & beverage experience is preferred but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Professional appearance and positive attitude.
• Willingness to learn and take direction.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Assist Servers with food and beverage delivery in a timely and professional manner.
• Set, clear, and reset tables according to Club standards.
• Refill water, coffee, bread, and condiments as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, service stations, and back-of-house areas.
• Communicate effectively with Servers, Hosts, Bartenders, and Kitchen staff.
• Anticipate member needs and respond promptly to requests.
• Follow all sanitation, safety, and alcohol service guidelines.
• Assist with opening and closing side work as assigned.
• Support special events, banquets, and private functions as needed.
