Qualifications
- RN with current Illinois license in good standing.
- BSN may be required depending on assignment.
- CPR/AED certification current and active.
- Knowledge of ethics and Illinois Nurse Practice Act.
- Ability to perform multiple, technical tasks and maintain records.
Responsibilities
- Provides nursing services including administration of medication, first aid, and emergencies.
- Maintains daily electronic log of student health events and injuries.
- Notifies nursing supervisor and school personnel regarding health concerns.
- Evaluates immunizations, physicals, and health records to ensure compliance.
- Administers medications under district guidelines and educates students.
- Plans and coordinates health-related programs and screenings.
